Some folks have been wondering how to get this done, and how many people are supported. Well, in terms of support, it all depends on the version you’re using. The one for $99 per year will allow for up to 5 people to share, which is not bad if you ask us. Now, make sure you have the latest version of Office 365 installed on your computer. Also, we should point out that each person gets 1TB of OneDrive storage, 60 minutes of free Skype minutes to call any mobile number in eight countries, and any landline number in over 60 countries. Additionally, the service brings to the table advanced email security for Outlook, and that is something each person will get to take advantage of.

Share Office 365 Home subscription benefits

To share your Office 365 subscription with friends and family, follow these steps.

1] Go the Sharing page

OK, so you will need to sign in to your Microsoft account > Sharing page. Bear in mind, you must use the same log-in information that is linked to your Office 365 subscription or this will not work at all. You should now see the Sharing tab, just simply click on it.

2] Multiple ways to share

The option is there to share via a link, or email, so choose the one that works best for the interested parties. If you want to share via an email address, just enter the address and hit Enter, and that’s it. As for the link, select Invite via Link, copy it, then send it to the other person.

3] Share using Microsoft Family

You may not have known this, but Microsoft has a family feature that allows the user to share calendars with families, share Office 365 subscription, limit screen time, and enable safer browsing on the web. If you want to add someone to your Microsoft Family account, please visit the Microsoft account, family page, and select Add a family member from the option below. Now, you can have up to 20 people in your family list, but can only share your Office subscription with up to five of them.

4] Manage people you’ve shared Office with

Sharing with a bunch of people is one thing, but what about managing these people? Its pretty simple to get done. You see, there might come a time when you feel the need to share with someone else, which means, you will have to remove one person from the list. We can do this by visiting the Microsoft account > Sharing page, and under Other People, you can manage and view all those are on the list. From here, you can stop sharing, add a new person, and more. Sharing is caring!
