To add citations and references in Google Docs, follow these steps- To get started, open the desired document in Google Docs and click on the Tools > Citations option.

It helps you add different types of citations. Choose an option from the corresponding drop-down list and click the Add citation source button.

Now, you have to choose a Source type. You have to select the type as per your requirements. Let’s assume that you want to insert a website article as the source. In that case, choose the Website option. On the other hand, let’s say that you want to refer to a TV series or an episode of a particular TV series. In that case, you have to choose the TV series or TV episode option. Next, you can enter the required information.
